Mobility Research Forum is a network of universities collaborating on mobile application research and development. This forum is supported by Microsoft Mobile University relations program. The collaboration between the network of universities on the mobility space began in 2006 under the support of Nokia. Each university has established a Mobile Innovation laboratory managed by a faculty member and a number of students are associated to each Laboratory. A deep interest to collaborate online more actively across the network of researchers and students from each university gave rise to the need to establish the Mobility Research forum.
• To provide a platform for research community to collaborate in the area of Applied Mobile Application development and Mobile Computing research.
• To explore joint initiatives to advance mobile application research.
• Develop mobile education curriculum.
• Showcase the best research results to inspire faculty and students to advance in their quest to touch millions of mobile users with innovations coming out of the laboratories.
